Aspen, a lynx
Aspen is a declawed Canadian lynx living at Wildlife on Wheels, a Southern California animal sanctuary. He was given up by a breeder who originally intended to raise Aspen to maturity for his pelt.
Aspen had reparative surgery as a younster, in 2002, to relieve the pain in his paws, which was caused by having been declawed as a cub. His operation was funded through a generous private donation to The Paw Project.
